Health and wellness is big business.
Study to become a physician can similarly be a big business if you claim that you know stuff you can't possibly know.
There are about a hundred this type of physicians in the America alone ... They are authorizeded to practice medicine, but what they practice is not medicine ... sorry to break it to you.
Dr. Eric Berg asserts that each person can be sorted in one of 4 body types, type of body, which suggests what is off with them, how they ought to eat, and what they ought to eat, and what nutritional supplement they should take.
I have had customers who followed Dr. Berg's diet program and supplementation, and then, a year or two later, they came to me to have their nutritional shortages and dietary supplements checked.
I have discovered that they were less well than when they started.
Why?
One of the reasons is that nobody tends to know themselves. You have way too much details, and the opposite. You are looking from the inside of you. It is hard.
You also transform with time.
I used to get really exhausted and stressed.
I had advice from an ayurvedic man, not an expert, a lay person, just like myself, told me that my vibes are very tense, Vata vibes.
I didn't know my Vata from my schooling, but I decided it was worth a try.
I stayed clear of the staple food items that made vata worse, and lo and behold, I was no longer nervous.
But before I changed my diet, everyone would have claimed that I was an Adrenal type ... but I wasn't.
I can't typecast myself. muscletesting doesn't fit me into any of those bins or categories.
In my experience this system is set up somehow to be attractive and easy to understand, and so that a ton of people will buy it and share it.
Spoken word ... if it is easy enough and easy to share ... a ticket to riches.
But it isn't a ticket to getting well, or shedding those unwanted pounds.
It may be a good beginning, but it will not quite take you there ...
Maybe, like my customer, you'll lose some excess weight, but most other aspects won't get well.
For me, the secret is to stay clear of what would make a lot of air inside me ... chatting is primary! salads, raw veggies, cruciferous veggies, bread ... all make gas ... and prevent me from being able to sleep, and make me tense, restless, stupid, and impatient.
Or if you have an inclination for that, maybe even scared ...
No other reason than the air inside you is making crazy jumps.
Not surprisingly, the food item list I consume by is quite restricted, but I am very well now, essentially, and also sleep ... unless I make a mistake.
Same holds true for my customers.
But ... I really don't have anything one size fit most in my system. I spend hours focusing on a client's chart, so they can get slender, so they can get well, so they can sleep well, so they can start succeeding in their lives.
And it is working, for nine out of 10 people.
The 1 out of the 10 does not follow directions ... they make up their own rules ... despite the fact that they got a detailed "map" on how to proceed.
Oh well, you cannot help someone who doesn't want to be helped.
