Health is big business.
Being a doctor can also be a big business if you claim that you know stuff you cannot possibly know.
There are approximately a hundred such physicians in the USA alone ... They are permitted to practice medicine, but what they practice is not medicine ... sorry to break it to you.
Dr. Eric Berg claims that every person can be classified in one of four body types, physique, and that body type determines what is wrong with them, how they ought to eat, and what they are supposed to eat, and what health supplement they should take.
I have had clients who followed Dr. Berg's diet and dietary supplements, and then, a year or two later, they came to me to have their dietary shortages and supplementation checked.
I have discovered that they were less well than when they started.
Why is that?
One of the reasons is that not a single person tends to know themselves. You have too much info, and the opposite. You are observing from the inside of you. It is not easy.
You also change in time.
I used to get really exhausted and stressed.
I had advice from an ayurvedic man, not an expert, a lay person, like myself, told me that my vibes are very stressed, Vata vibes.
I didn't know my Vata from my education and learning, but I decided it deserved a try.
I stayed clear of the staple food items that made vata even worse, and lo and behold, I was no more jittery.
But before I altered my diet regimen, everyone would have claimed that I was an Adrenal type ... but I wasn't.
I can't typecast myself. muscletesting doesn't match me into any of those bins or categories.
In my experience this system is established in a way to be appealing and easy to understand, and so that a ton of people will purchase it and talk about it.
Spoken word ... if it is easy enough and easy to talk about ... a key to riches.
But isn't a ticket to getting well, or dropping those undesirable pounds.
It may be a good beginning, but it doesn't quite take you there ...
Maybe, like my client, you'll lose some weight, but most other things won't get well.
For me, the solution is to stay clear of what would make a lot of air inside me ... talking is number one! salads, raw veggies, cruciferous veggies, bread ... all make gas ... and stop me from being able to fall asleep, and make me jittery, restless, listless, and impatient.
Or if you have a disposition for that, maybe even frightened ...
No other cause than the air inside you is making crazy jumps.
Not surprisingly, the food list I eat by is quite restricted, but I am very well now, essentially, and also sleep ... unless I make a mistake.
Same holds true for my clientele.
But ... I most definitely don't have anything one size fit most in my program. I spend hours focusing on a person's chart, so they can get slim, so they can get well, so they can sleep well, so they can start succeeding in their lives.
And it is working, for 9 out of 10 people.
The one out of the 10 won't follow directions ... they make up their own rules ... even though they got a detailed "map" on the best ways to proceed.
Oh well, you can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped.
