Health and wellness is big business.
Learning to become a doctor can similarly be a big business if you claim that you know stuff you can not really know.
There are approximately one hundred such medical doctors in the USA alone ... They are accredited to exercise medicine, but what they exercise is not medicine ... sorry to break it to you.
Dr. Eric Berg asserts that every person can be sorted in one of four types, body, and that body type suggests what is off with them, how they should eat, and what they are supposed to eat, and what supplements they should take.
I have had clients who followed Dr. Berg's dietary plan and supplementing, and then, a year or two later, they came to me to have their nutritional insufficiencies and dietary supplements checked.
I have found that they were worse than when they began.
Why is that?
One of the reasons is that nobody tends to know themselves. You have way too much data, and the opposite. You are observing from the inside of you. It is hard.
You also change with time.
I used to get really drained and feel pressured.
I had recommendations from an ayurvedic guy, not an expert, a lay person, similar to myself, saying to me that my vibes are very stressed, Vata vibes.
I didn't know my Vata from my reading, but I thought it was worth a try.
I stayed away from the staple food items that made vata worse, and lo and behold, I was no more jittery.
But before I changed my diet regimen, everybody would have claimed that I was an Adrenal type ... but I was not.
I can't typecast myself. kinesiology does not fit me into any of those boxes or categories.
In my experience this system is set up in a way to be attractive and easy to understand, and so that a great deal of people will purchase it and discuss it.
Word of mouth ... if it is easy enough and easy to discuss ... a ticket to riches.
But will not be a ticket to getting in good health, or shedding those unwanted pounds.
It may be a good start, but it doesn't quite take you there ...
Maybe, like my customer, you'll shed some excess weight, but most other factors won't improve.
For me, the secret is to stay clear of what would make a lot of air inside me ... talking is number one! salads, raw vegetables, cruciferous vegetables, bread ... all make gas ... and stop me from being able to fall asleep, and make me tense, restless, stupid, and impatient.
Or if you have an inclination for that, maybe even scared ...
No other cause than the air inside you is making untamed jumps.
Not surprisingly, the food list I consume by is quite restrictive, but I am well now, for the most part, and also sleep ... unless I slip up.
Same is true for my clients.
But ... I really don't have anything one size fit most in my program. I spend hours working on a client's chart, so they can get slender, so they can get well, so they can sleep well, so they can start succeeding in their lives.
And it is working, for 9 out of ten people.
The 1 out of the ten does not follow directions ... they invent their own rules ... even though they got a detailed "map" on the best ways to proceed.
Oh well, you can't help someone who does not want to be helped.
