Fitness is big business.
Becoming a medical doctor can likewise be a big business if you declare that you know stuff you can not possibly know.
There are approximately a hundred such doctors in the America alone ... They are permitted to exercise medicine, but what they practice is not medicine ... sorry to say.
Dr. Eric Berg claims that every person can be classified in one of four types, body, and that body type defines what is wrong with them, how they are supposed to eat, and what they ought to eat, and what dietary supplement they should take.
I have had clients who followed Dr. Berg's eating plan and dietary supplements, and then, a year or two later, they came to me to have their nutritional insufficiencies and dietary supplements checked.
I have discovered that they were worse than when they began.
Why?
One of the reasons is that not a single person tends to know themselves. You have way too much info, and the opposite. You are observing from the inside. It is hard.
You also transform as time pass.
I used to get really drained and feel pressured.
I had suggestions from an ayurvedic guy, not a specialist, a lay person, like myself, told me that my vibes are very tense, Vata vibes.
I didn't know my Vata from my education, but I thought it was worth a try.
I stayed away from the staple food items that made vata even worse, and lo and behold, I was no more nervous.
But prior to I altered my diet, everyone would have said that I was an Adrenal type ... but I wasn't.
I am not able typecast myself. muscletesting will not match me into any of those bins or types.
In my practical experience this system is set up in some way to be attractive and understandable, and so that a ton of people will get it and talk about it.
Word of mouth ... if it is easy enough and easy to talk about ... a key to riches.
But isn't really a ticket to getting healthy, or shedding those excess pounds.
It may be a good beginning, but it will never quite take you there ...
Maybe, like my client, you'll lose some weight, but most other things won't improve.
For me, the key is to stay clear of what would make a lot of air inside me ... gabbing is primary! salads, raw veggies, cruciferous veggies, bread ... all make gas ... and stop me from being able to sleep, and make me tense, restless, stupid, and impatient.
Or if you have an inclination for that, maybe even afraid ...
No other explanation than the air inside you is making wild jumps.
Not surprisingly, the food item list I eat by is quite restricted, but I am very well now, essentially, and also sleep ... unless I make a mistake.
Same holds true for my clientele.
But ... I most definitely don't have anything one solution fit most in my system. I spend hours focusing on a person's chart, so they can get slender, so they can get well, so they can rest well, so they can start succeeding in their lives.
And it is working, for nine out of 10 people.
The one out of the 10 doesn't follow directions ... they make up their own rules ... even though they got a detailed "map" on how to proceed.
Oh well, you can't help someone who will not want to be helped.
