Fitness is big business.
Being a physician can likewise be a big business if you declare that you know stuff you can not possibly know.
There are about one hundred this kind of doctors in the United States alone ... They are licensed to exercise medicine, but what they exercise is not medicine ... sorry to say.
Dr. Eric Berg says that everyone can be classified in one of four body types, body, and that specifies what is wrong with them, how they ought to eat, and what they should eat, and what nutritional supplement they should take.
I have had clients who followed Dr. Berg's diet program and supplementing, and then, a year or two later, they came to me to have their nutritional shortages and dietary supplements checked.
I have found that they were worse than when they began.
Why is that?
One of the reasons is that nobody appears to know themselves. You have far too much info, and the opposite. You are looking from the inside of you. It is hard.
You also improve as time pass.
I used to get really worn down and stressed.
I had suggestions from an ayurvedic guy, not an authority, a lay person, similar to myself, telling me that my vibes are very jittery, Vata vibes.
I didn't know my Vata from my education and learning, but I thought it was worth a try.
I stayed away from the staple food items that made vata worse, and lo and behold, I was no more nervous.
But before I altered my diet, everybody would have said that I was an Adrenal type ... but I wasn't.
I cannot typecast myself. muscletesting doesn't match me into any of those boxes or categories.
In my experience this system is established somehow to be desirable and easy to understand, and so that a ton of people will purchase it and share it.
Spoken word ... if it is easy enough and easy to share ... a key to riches.
But will not be a ticket to getting healthy, or shedding those undesirable pounds.
It may be a good start, but it will never quite take you there ...
Maybe, like my customer, you'll lose some body weight, but most other things won't get well.
For me, the key is to avoid what would make a lot of air inside me ... conversing is number one! salads, raw vegetables, cruciferous vegetables, bread ... all make gas ... and stop me from being able to sleep through the night, and make me jittery, restless, lethargic, and impatient.
Or if you have an inclination for that, maybe even afraid ...
No other reason than the air inside you is making crazy jumps.
Not surprisingly, the food list I consume by is quite restricted, but I am well now, for the most part, and also sleep ... unless I slip up.
Same holds true for my clients.
But ... I most definitely don't have anything one solution fit most in my system. I spend hours focusing on a client's profile, so they can get slender, so they can heal, so they can rest well, so they can start being successful in their lives.
And it is working, for 9 out of ten people.
The one out of the ten does not follow directions ... they make up their own rules ... even though they got a detailed "map" on the best ways to proceed.
Oh well, you can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped.
